Do you have any tips for girls who are just starting out?

Try and find some other girls (or boys) to skate with. Maybe you have some friends who’d be interested in learning. Maybe you can make some new friends down at your local park?
Try and get along to some skate events (ideally girls events). If you go to a contest, it will be inspiring for you to watch better girls. If you go to a lesson event, it will be easier to learn! If you go to a camp, it will be even easier to learn!
But most importantly – remember to HAVE FUN! It doesn’t matter how quickly you learn or what tricks you can do, as long as you’re enjoying yourself.
