About · SkaterGirl International is the worlds first daily newspaper dedicated to womens skateboarding. It was founded with the goal of providing a voice for female skaters, a population segment that is often overlooked or ignored by the boardsports industry. Our mission as a nonprofit is not just to inspire grirls through our quality coverage but also to encourage, educate and empower girls through participation in skateboarding, as well as providing a platform for success for women who want to pursue careers in skateboarding, both as professional athletes and behind the scenes. Skateboard events, competitions, product reviews, advice, fashion, videos, interviews, and more for girls who skateboard.
Vision · SkaterGirl International is more than just a skateboarding newspaper for women, it is a unique, supportive and educational community for women. We’re here to support girls skateboarding. Simple. We do everything from promote participation, help girls learn to skate, run new events and competitions, sponsor competitions, help make films, run girls only skate camps, organise road trips and of course report on all the news and action from around the world. So not just the worlds most comprehensive source of news and opinion for girls skateboarding but also a driver for change in the industry.
Non Profit · All money made from advertising or sponsorship on the site – as well as any products, tickets or services we receive are used to support the girls scene in some way. We have a fantastic team of authors from around the world, who share this same goal and who are all actively involved in helping both the graassroots and professional skate scene for girls.
