The finals of the Natural Born Skaters Final took place this weekend at Bay Sixty6 Skatepark in London. The Natural Born Skaters Tour travelled to 3 skate parks to find three finalists in three categories to take place in the final at Bay Sixty6. All of the finalists turned up and waited for the London qualifiers to finish before the grand final. All in all 40 skaters took place in what turned out to be a great final.
The comp kicked off at 1.30 with the London qualifiers and the locals showed immediately that they would be hard to beat and that they weren’t going to let a tourist come and win on their home turf. The tourists however were not going to lie down and each and everyone brought their own flavour to the final. First up after the qualifiers was the girls jam. It was great to have some girls after a bit of a lack in the qualifying legs, and the girls that did show were all having it. Lois Pendlebury took out the jam followed by Sam Bruce, Faye Chadburn and Cherryse Deabreau. Nice one girls, now get your mates involved next year.
