Reverb Girls UK Tour 2012

Kate Egan and the Lady Rollers Organisation are organising a girl’s tour of some of the UK’s most infamous skateparks aimed to generate awarness and increase the profile of women within industry. The event is also being aimed at “new blood” to encourage new girls to take up our sports. Be sure to get along to participate and have some fun!

From Thursday 26th July until Saturday 28th July a crew of girls featuring some of the best UK female athletes competing in BMX, Skate Boarding, Inline and Scooter will visit Unit 23 Skatepark,Rampworx Skatepark & Terminal 1 Skatepark.

The whole event will be filmed to produce a fly on the wall documentary on the life of young female athletes, the progression of females within the extreme sports’ industry and to show how much fun we all have… we hope this will encourage many new aspiring young women to “have a go” and hopefully pursue a discipline of their choice further.

As part of the tour… to encouarge new athletes we are dedicating one day entirely for Girls that “want to have a go” at Rampworx Skate Park. During the day there will be FREE coaching on hand and the opportunity to session with the elite girls in each discipline.
