We all love to admire an amazing skateboard photo – whether it’s of our favourite pro rider on the cover of a magazine – or just one of ourselves skating with friends on our computer. But capturing those perfect moments is really tricky – and whilst we all get lucky from time to time – here are 10 things to consider when shooting skateboard photography:

1. Shoot with a fisheye
2. Go low to the ground
3. Work with the athletes
4. Go for wide angle lens
5. Look for cool features
6. Shoot at sunrise \ sunset
7. Bring out a flash
8. Keep the background simple
9. Shoot lifestyles
10. Use radio or cord trigger flash

To read more details about each of these tips, head over to the Action Photo School website and their interesting article that we recently stumbled across. Hope it helps. Happy snapping!
